    Default Mermaid on Fly

Went out to catch mermaid on fly, caught one.... see attached pic. Would this exotic species be hazardous to yellows and other indigenous fish? Should I show the fish to my wife?
I'm not addicted to fishing, I can quit anytime my wife makes me!!

It's still far too small, maybe a Leprechaun would be happy. I hope you released it to get bigger.
It's not in the catching, it's in the learning something new.

I'd use an open fly to catch bigger ones.
Our tradition is that of the first man who sneaked away to the creek when the tribe did not really need fish."

Ok so with all the criticism, I went out and tried again.... this time using a barbel fly.... but Im not sure if I prefer this result or not. What are your thoughts?
