    Welcome mate - (Selamat )

Nice part of the world to be logging in from.
Used to spend a lot of time in Malaysia when I stayed in Singapore.

Some great national dishes from Selangor - Laksa and Chinese Bak Kut Teh readily jumps to mind. Spent a fair bit of time in Kuala Selangor and Klang where there were some great seafood restaurants.

What species do you fish for there?
    Snakehead.....Barramundi.....

Ever get to the east coast? Some great spots there.

    Enjoy your time here.

    Hi Naveen
I use to visit Malaysia a lot for bussiness.
On one of the trips, I fished for a carnivorous carp. The local fisherman, used a long nose pliers to remove the hook, as the crusher plates, apprently could crush your fingers.
    Have you fished for them?

    Hi Korrie,

Carnivorous carp eh?? Could it be the jungle perch that you're referring??

    Hi Naveen

Not sure, the fisherman said, "carp" maybe it is a perch.
All I know, they where very very careful when they took out the hook.
The fish had no teeth, but as they explained the crusher plates in the back of the mouth/throat area, was very dangerous.
Might have a photos somewhere, will compare it to your photo.

    thanks for that.
