Remember,even industry leaders are paid by clients to provide a cost effective , image friendly solution to a problem. They earn their bread and butter by pleasing the client - not the public.

I am so tired of hearing this whole spiel. Why always generalise. A consultant's integrity and compliance to code of ethics is way more important than money. The problem comes in with I&APs only willing to see one side of the coin and the authorities not following up on compliance. Believe me a perfect authorisation is worth nothing if no enforcement of conditions by authorities. I see this even on voluntary audits. Should all development be halted and we start culling people. No what is needed is sustainable solutions and enforcement to those conditions. I will never change your mind on this one but had to blow of some steam.
