Default Recipe for mustard colour dubbing

    Hi all

I want to tie some mustard caddis flies but cannot find the right colour dubbing.

Can anyone assist with the colours I need to mix to get this colour?

Or is there an available brand that sells the proper mustard colour dubbing?

    Thanks!

I haven't been able to find any either so I use plumber's tape and color it with a mustard color marker pen.

You must be referring to the SLF Dijon colour?

    Who makes these pens?

I have been experimenting with chamois leather for caddis fly boddies, gives a nice texture, perhaps I can colour these with the mustard colour pen...

    Try a wool shop.
There are 1000's of color of wool.
Get one of the wool spools.

You can either wrap the wool around for a body, or chop the wool in piece and put it thru the Coffee Grinder.
