    Not quite a cricket.

However, you have discovered the joy of tying whilst " B*ggering around" with various materials and ideas.

If your budget is limitless like Gerrit's, you will be tying "patent flies in no time.

    Google, Flytying Electric Cricket.

Then have fun sourcing the right materials.

It took me 6 weeks of thinking out the box to get them together. I think I still have some of each left, just in case I wish to spend 1 hour on a fly again.

Herman!! Dit beteken as jy deelneem in die Flytying Bonanza dit sal net 24 uur neem oor die volgende jaar.

Dave, I might just take part, but doubt very much if I'll be tying those crickets ever again. , and I didn't even win the flyswop

Everybody cant win, but would love to see your flies there as you are one of the best on this forum. This forum has so many good flytiers and as many new guys and it will be great to have them tie here as well. This I think can be a learning experience for novices, it's up to us ''old toppies' to show the way. Besides, I dont think any other forum has ever done this. Maybe we can even set up a world record for the most flies tied on a forum but we need support.
