Redpath yes.Saw him trying some nymphing ideas he had,but I just was to imersed in what was around me i did not pay much attention as top exactly what he was doing.Must say he is a very well prepared angler too.Now when are me and you gonna fish together :-)
Think I will need to come to your waters.maybe arrange our clubs year end there???

We must really make a plan, the yearend function would be great there. Before that we must fish a bit. The Orange is getting better by the day, October should be great! Will stay in touch.

I'm going to the Orange this weekend. Will let you guys know what it's like. Super exited about fishing the Orange again after it being in flood for so long.

Below Vanderkloof on a private stretch of river. Awesome water to fish with lots of rapids and some slower sections. I've always wondered- why do so few people fish the stretch of river below Vanderkloof? Don't want to hijack the thread but just thinking. This is such a great piece of river!

No, it's on the Free State side of the river. Farmer by the name of Abrie Strauss. It's about 10km below the dam wall. Do you fish this stretch often Chris?
