you want ready made popper heads? I get balsa from the deckle edge... Shape the head like a cone and make the half sphere popping side using a dremel bit.

Price not bad at all... about R25 for a piece 25cm x 10cm x 5cm.

They also have some interesting things to use for tube flies and I get all my color permanent markers there

I will take 2 or 3 pieces as soon as I go back to Stellenbosch. Been searching for Balsa for quite some time now and used surfboard foam previously but it's a bit messy and also quite soft which dents very easily. But as Denton mentioned just add epoxy and VoilÃ*!

Peter you're bang on the money ! Shape them yourself, it's not to hard and plus, you can experiment to see what works best for you or the situation.
