If all else fails, STRIP AS FAST AS YOU CAN.
Sometimes, this fly that ZOOMS past a fish will provoke a take, when nothing else will.

For those who know, we refer to it as the "ZP strip."

Nymphing, adds depth to your fly fishing.
Nymphing, is fly fishing in another dimension

Just to add to Korrie's weedbed section, dont hassle if while fishing weedbeds you hook some with your fly. Trout hit weedbed flies at speed.

This is definitely true! I remember it from my days of bass fishing with baitcaster setup, sometimes you make a bad cast or miss the target and then you quickly reel in the lure, only to have a bass hit it like there is no tomorrow just a few meters from you! Guess the same will work for them trout, they are hunters after all, if something runs, chase it and eat it!
