    Arrow Articulated Double Bunny's

I took Scott Sanchez's kick ass Double Bunny pattern and gave it a tailing friend. Introducing the Articulated Double Bunny.

These flies follow the same colour scheme as the Articulated CDC Bugger i.e 8 variants with a lighter belly. So if the fish are on a specific colour for any given day, I'll be able to pull them with any of these two type of flies. If they're more into a specific style, I'll have two styles to choose form.

From a technical perspective, everything is really easy to tie but because I add a weedguard at the back hook, you need to trim the belly hide of the front hook shorter. You cut the hide just so that it ends off right against the weedguard. There is enough fur left on the shorter hide to flow through and cover everything so that it still looks like one fly.

If you don't trim it shorter, the tail will swing either side of the weedguard. One cast on the near side and perhaps on the other side with the 2nd cast. I prefer mine to flow.I haven't got quality Rams wool (going to sub it polar fibre) at present for the completion of the heads so I only have 3 completed flies to display today. The hides still needs to be glued, waiting for Tear Mender to arrive.

Daai goed lyk lekker! Maybe we can do some Sunnyside fishing with it one night - cast it out a flat window on Esselin street and see how many cats we can catch - should be a helluvalot of fun!
