I haven't heard of Green River Custom Rods, but there is a NZ blank manufacturer who makes down to 0 weights. They are called CTS and have a fantastic reputation amongst custom rod builders worldwide. Do a search for CTS on rodbuilding.org. You can get 0 weights in the Affinity One and Vintage ranges.

I am looking to build an Affinity One 9ft 5wt. Will let you know how I get on. I have a price list if anyone is interested.

I've never cast a CTS blank Devlin. I'm taking a chance in building one, but I figure that all those experts can't be wrong. The Affinity One has been favourably compared to a Z Axis, so the action sounds perfect for me.

There actually aren't that many CTS rods in NZ, most blanks are exported to custom rodbuilders in the USA and elsewhere. So getting to cast a built rod is tricky.

Their site says they have rods that range from 2wt up? Do they make the blanks and not advertise this on the site? Or do you have to ask for them specifically?
