G, you can get the 12v intek volume pump at cape union mart for R99, it is a bit pap, but does pump the boat, put a piece of hose pipe and valve adapter fits perfectly, dont need to hold anythig. it pumps while you kit up, i also saw one at Game fo R145, looks a bit better, only saw it after i bought this one.

If its for your boat and you want to inflate it in 10sec, get a hand blower. Makita has the portable 12 volt, but it is very expensive for the battery and charger but like i said fills the pontoons in 10 sec.

If you want to pump the boat hard after the volume is in a mini air compressor works well, i think they were on special for about 250 at Game, not sure if it is still on. it comes with a standard screw on fitting for a car valve, you can just jiga a car valve onto the boat valve adapter and you set, pumps it very hard and quick.

Well, this is if you intend to use it on your boat................ it would probably make a doll blow.

Like i said, very expensive and not worth it just for the boat. I saw it at makro.... cant remember the exact prices . Unit about 600, battery about 500charger about 1500. Crazy.................

Sorry i see i said in my previous post its 12v its not its actually 18v.

If you just get the unit, I was thinking of an invertor to run off the 12v deep cycle, not worth it, won’t be very effective.

Then i was thinking of running 3x 6 volts alarm batteries in series, but dunno if this is all worth it as that small volume pump for R99 does the job.
