    Default Hook sharpener

    Hi all, where can I buy this kind of hook sharpener? the EZE Lap Model "S". Word on the street is, its the best.

    Not sure if it's the best sharpener for hooks. Prefer to have a groove in a flat sharpener, which sharpens to a point.

    the company makes a little flat one as well.
    about 25mm x 50mm
    Works very well.
    Most Camp and Climb stock it. think cape union mart as well

    I bought two from sportman's warehouse last year. They are the biz...

    Sorry, which did you mean work best - the 'flat' version, or the 'pen' version, from the threads above?

    I dont think that it makes that huge a difference. Am I correct? The 'pen' version also has a designated slot (more that one) so you can also sharpen to a perfect point... ja?

    Mine has the slot, but I never use the slot.
    You can get a far better point and edge, by doing it on the flat side.

    I use the one with the "slot" and it works well for me...

    I have the exact same one...bought it like 12 years ago, can't recall where...
    But it's the business, really good sharpener, and still good as new.
