    GrahamS mentioned that the "lines" may make for a nice "feeling" grip...it actually looks like indented lines, but if you feel the rings they are smooth, you can't feel the lines. But, maybe over time they may become more pronounced and then you might be able to feel them.

    Ag, it's interesting nonetheless...I like trying different things.

    Speaking of which, I'm also trying some different things and methods on reelseats, spacers and complete grips. I'm just busy finishing off some rods that I need to get done, and after that I'll carry on and show you guys.
    Well on my "Shamwari" 5 wt, that cork seal is awesome, the grip still looks new...

    That grip seal is the business.. I want to get some for all my grips... makes a serious difference!!
