The "Electric" Minnow.

Following up from "Match the hatch" here are some Electric Minnows.These are out and out Attractor Articulated brush flies and so named because of the use of Electric Yellow Steve Farrar blend in the tail area.

For the tail (back hook) I spun a brush using Chartreuse SF followed by Electric Yellow SF. This was fun cause I got to do a bit of blending.I only wrapped 5cm (steel wire) of Chartreuse onto the hook to leave enough space for the Electric Yellow hot spot otherwise it wouldn't have been visible.

The front hook was done with Orange.
