    Default Knysna in July

I'm off to do the Pick n Pay Knysna Cycle Tour this coming weekend and was wondering if I should take a flyrod or two along?

Is there anything happening there at this time of the year? Fishing wise I mean.

Isn't it difficult casting off the back of a bicycle going 60km/h down a hill?
I'm sure it will cause tailing loops....

Should'nt you be out scratching around in the bush looking for pieces of wood to make reelseats out off? Go and hi-jack someone else's thread.

From my experience in Stilbaai there is bugger all action in winter but Kynsna may be different. I only target Leeries so not sure about the rest!

Going to be good surf along that coastline this weekend, rather go for a surf and get the blood flowing in those old legs of yours

    Matt

The legs are going to be a bit pap after a MTB ride on Sat and Sunday. Was also hoping to get some leerie action but I guess it's doubtful.

Might just have to get into some serious Knysna type tapas bars instead. Are'nt the Stormers playing some little NZ side on Sat?

Tie up some Oyster immitations and chuck them around in those Tapas bars you mentioned. You might just get a few pulls!

rather enjoy the cycle and forget the fishing, in hind sight, come spring time it will cook again as all the rivers had a decent flooding.
