Wild Olive spacer with the Struble U-17 seat. The grip is a Hexagonal custom, a little larger than the normal diameter grips - Pete has big hands it seems
got this yesterday and played with it in the garden today: have to say that the new grip has made a whole new rod out of this old txl #2.

it might sound crazy but the thicker grip really gives me more "feel' with the rod. the thicker grip really has impressed me a great deal and the hex shape is growing on me all the time.

i cant wait to get out onto the streams with it.

but it's got me thinking about what i do with all my standard production rods that come with the standard small hand grip: do you think i can wrap that golf/squash grip over the grip and get the benifit of the thickeker grip?

Mario, many thanks, shes a beaut and will be one of the first if not the first rod i use when the river season opens.
