    I actually dont have a weighted version in my box, they are either unweighted or tied as a booby - that shall be rectified this evening though!
    Around the steel no tortur'd worm shall twine, No blood of living insect stain my line;
    Let me, less cruel, cast feather'd hook, With pliant rod athwart the pebbled brook,
    Silent along the mazy margin stray, And with fur-wrought fly delude the prey

    I heard that the juniors and the Boland guys also did very well on their version of the Goldilocks. All of the "pirate versions" were far more complicated.

    I think it is the Fluro Orange dubbing.

    Thanks Korrie. I will frantically tie up a few tonight.
    An honest fisherman is a pretty uninteresting person.

    Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and not only is he hungry but broke for the rest of his life as well.

    Korrie, one question, why use the commercial tying sequence for your fly ??? Tying your hackle above the bend of your hook in the initial stages strenghtens it. Then palmer towards the eye gives you more control anyways., supported then additionally by your ribbing.

    Just the way it came out. Plus if you know how many of these I have tied, it felt like a commercial operation at one stage.

    Make sure you have enough Goldilocks for the Winter stillwaters.
