Hey Gerrit, what size hooks are you using that are in that fly box?
Just thought I'd post a typical day's MO so here goes.
All materials & tools needed for tomorrows prep work are neatly placed in my tying tray and sorted for easy navigation when I start the day's work.
The schedule looks like this; 60 tails (CDL) and 18 Caddis. Pic 1. (I had some spare time so I decided to cut the grating foil in strips for easy peeling,no need for that tomorrow)
Today's fruits; 50 tails and 12 Caddis.Pic 2 and 3.
50 extended foam bodies (some still needs colouring but that's quick) completed last week WITH their underbodies. The hard yards are done, just need to tie them in,do the antenna's and squirrel collar to have a completed fly.(Graphic extended Caddis Pupa)
The key is planning, preparation and execution! Keep it tidy and neat and work according to a schedule, the numbers will pop of the Vise in no time, guaranteed.

The ones with the lead on, I like the way you put the lead on those. Why do you leave a gap between the bead? Is it to keep the weight at the eye and the bend of the hook the same?
Nothing to do with weight Mark.
You leave a gap because the neck/thorax of the natural is thin (compared to the body) and hence only one layer of lead and not two. See a close up of the completed fly here .
