    Landed this beauty with the help of Andrew this weekend. We didn't weigh the fish,but estimated it between 3,5-4kg. What a fight!

    I once caught a beast, did not get to weigh it, but it measured an almighty 12cm.

    Haha-yes, I still had some flashback of the fight Saturday night..

    There were some tense moments there, but the relieve was almost overwhelming when you finally netted her! Had the shakes for a while.

    P.s remind me to never drive back from Potchefstroom in the night with a storm!!

    That must have been a dodgy drive, but like I said to you, the drive would have been MUCH worse if you had lost the fish

    interesting enough, for me my pb of 4kg didnt give me half the battle my next pb of around 3kg gave me, this one properly revved me! was at oord nebo, herman took the photo.

    caught pb at schoemansdrift after fishing that venue week in and week out for about 2 years!

    Awesome fish that, for sure. And you are right about the Potch-JHB trip at night in a storm...it's K@K!!! When cars come from the front, you can barely see the frikkin road. I wish they would widen that road all the way.
