I entered on Wednesday
Had a beer between flights at Lilongwe International
Passed the 2nd highest mountain in Africa on my way to Blantyre
We got up early the next morning and took a long drive to the mountains. On our way we passed this butchery/ take away

Nice! Where was this, Zomba? I've heard stories that the streams are pretty empty and not managed at all these days, good to see you got some fish.

Surely looks like the stream just underneath the Zomba camping area at the top of the mountain.
Yes, this is Zomba, the stream that Red Humpy mentioned and another a bit further into the forest.
It is also true that it's not managed, luckily the trout breeds wild aswell and not many know where to find the fish.
Mulangi apparantly has lots of bows up on the massive, it's just one hell of a hike to get to them (Maybe February will see me hunting some of them down).
This is not the only place in Malawi that has Trout there is another place too.
Not sure about the name, but I once saw it in the GO magazine. I know that the foothills of Kilimanjaro also boasts some trout fishing.
A place I would like to visit is the Eastern Highlands of Zimbabwe.
