Forestry in Graskop should be able to point you in the right direction.

Spoke to Andrew at Big Sky Outdoor re. obtaining permits for fishing the Sabie and Blyde in the area. The permit still allows fishing on both rivers, but he does not advise fishing the Blyde. New land owners, and they have not re-negotiated exclusive access rights with them.

Any updates on the Sabie? Are they still stocking this river?

We are going to Kruger for a few days and thought perhaps to squeeze in two nights somewhere else on the way back. Either Sabie or Dullstroom. This will be now, end of the month (July).

I doubt it, with the new NEMBA laws. If they are its illegally.

I'm not really up to date with the latest, but good point.

Booked a cosy fireplaced cabin near Haenertsburg instead, hopefully there are a couple of trout still swimming around there.

Hi yes they are still stocking the river and the fishing was pretty good when I went a month or so ago.

The reiver below the dam has a few busses in it. I used to frequent that area a bit, and there are some superb river fishing (and stillwater options) up that way.
You are a perishable item. Live accordingly.
