    Default Wag n Biejie report

Spent yesterday and today out at Wag n Bietjie on my ace.

    Wednsday (upstream nymphing only)
17 SM Yellows, ave. fish size 1.5kg, largest fishes 4,2kg and 3,5 kg
Lots of caddis activity in late afternoon with fish rising strongly, unfortunately all my dries are in Scotland

    Thursday (CZ nymphing only)
37 yellows and 5 muddies (non foul hooked), ave fish size 1kg, largest fish 2.8kg

The differences between each day regarding the quantities and sizes are as to be expected between the two techniques.

Most of the fish we caught on a flash back GRHE
Fly-fishing surpasses the need to actually catch a fish, it becomes a mindset, and with time, an obsession.

Lord, grant that I may catch a fish so big that even I,
    When speaking afterwards,
May have no need to lie.
    Amen

    Hey Gael, welcome home

Good to see that you still know how to fish the Vaal after being away for so long.

Nice returns there, in fact excellent returns.

How long are you back for ?????????????
It's not in the catching, it's in the learning something new.
