Default Number 1 casting instructor in SA

    Guys,

I've just picked up the rod again after retiring involuntarily for about two years, thus the perfect time for professional instruction to ensure i don't return to those nasty habits picked up over the years.

Who would you say, is the best professional casting instructor in South Africa?

Do you have any idea of his/her rates?

Buy Tim Rolston's book "Learn to fly cast in a weekend" Apparently its fool proof.

The interesting thing is that the one technique that works 100% for the one person, is not always as effective to teach another person.
It might help, but not as effective as you want it to be.

    Examples
For the casting stroke, to describe the action and simulate it.
    10 to 2 o'clock on a watch
    Painting a ceiling.
Hitting a nail with a hamer in front of you and behind your back.
Hitting a drum with a drum stick.

You try and get a musician that is not practically minded to hamer a nail into a wall, in a mime action. Almost impossible.
But tell him to hit a big drum, where the center of the drum is at eye level, with a drum stick, immediately sorted.

BUT I have to agree, Mark Yelland is a super casting instructor, no fancy explanations. Just straight forward very clear instructions.
Tim's book is also very clear and conscise.

Guys do any of you have contact details for Mark. The website contacts page is broken and the one email address for Doug doesn't work.
