Here is my thing with the ESN debate. 3wt I find too heavy for Cape and Nec rivers, 2wt feeling more natural in those environments for me, and the 3wt or even 4wt seems to light for yellowfish, even in the smallstreams, and therefore prefer a 5 - 6wt 10ft rod. I dig the 2wt, that said, I have only fished it twice, and its been sitting in a cupboard for 3 years, and yes, it casts dry flies very nicely.
