He's back but still trying to fix his hair from the windstorms attempting to rip it out his skull.
Fishing is just my thing. I don't know what it is but it seems that i just can't get enough of it.

Yeahh I'm back and fishing tomorrow.

Need to feel a decent fish on the end of my line.
It's not in the catching, it's in the learning something new.

You are way too close to the Vaal

Not to worry, I'm coming back to your neck of the woods 1st of Feb G0d willing.
Since i'm on the wagon I have lots more dough to spend on fishing. My lovely wife even agreed that I have a set monthly fishing budget which is larger than the grocery one. Wheeeeeee!!!!!

Sage outfits for troot, Horizon for Yellows, every mans dream.

I will also once again be a tackle slut, not too mention ample trips to the Vaal and other places unknown.

Herman i found that place with the wild trout i told you about's contact details. We'll do a trip in April maybe.

Sorry...posted this under Vaal Update at first...forgot there was a thread for it.

I see the flow is at 55 currently. Not too bad.
Werner, are we all still on for Friday? Final Vaal trip? I'll see you guys at Eastco.

PS: Who's all coming anyway? Maybe we should smack a braai together for lunch?

    So which one is it?

Anything particular one would need as opposed to a trout 5wt setup? Got some indicators, an assortment of buggers and nymphs, 8.8lb tippet, floating line.

    Thanks

    Hey Mike,

Control flies or split shot, you need to get your flies down to the feeding zone.

You will need heavy beads with the flows the way they are.
