Hi guys
New to the forum. I live in the Northern Cape now but grew up in JHB. My home waters consist of the lower orange river and largemouth yellows are my favourite persuit. Great forum!
Thanks,
Brian

Welcome Bryan,
I hope you enjoy it here
Fishing is just my thing. I don't know what it is but it seems that i just can't get enough of it.
Thanks guys.
The last few months a basically used two patterns - brush fly and MSP, the latter taking the majority fish. The MSP's I use have dark olive zonker strip over either gold or light olive cactus chenile, medium to heavy yellow dumbell eyes and a touch of red. Length of fly = 6cm. Will try some new things this year and share it on here if I get results.
Cheers
Welcome Brian.
Seeing your location is the Northern Cape, you can expect PM's from Korrie and Andre, as well as maybe Gerrit, especially if you have private water
They are all good people though and between the 3 of them, they have a network of "private contacts" that "Skriks vir Niks ".
It's not in the catching, it's in the learning something new.
