Default Sekoma - My first trip for the striped water dog

    Hi

I'll be using this thread to document my trip to sekoma lodge in July this year. Thus far we have managed to pay the deposit at sekom, organised plane tickets and sorted out some gear.

    Pictures to follow ......

You will be making a couple of really green enemies with the progress of this thread.

    Enjoy the prep work.

Size and weight - Look like Gamma B10S's?

Definitely keen to see what dressing and colours you go for. Personally I'm a fan of combining SLF and bucktail but there are loads of different materials out there.

Grant and a few others had some interesting findings with regard to lateral lines based on their Kavango trips but I forget what they used for them.

Yep they are B10S's, size 4, 2 and 2/0, dumbbells are 4 and 5mm. Dressing, I was thinking of doing them half buck tail only and the other half a blend of SLF and buck tail.

    Colors I would do thus far are;
    All black

    Black/Red
    Black/Purple
    Black/Red/Green/Chartreuse(Fire Tiger)
    Black/Chartreuse
    Green/Olive
    Black/Grey

For lateral lines I would use one strand flash per side

Let me give you a few reasons why you should consider grey...

Plain grey with silver flash as lateral line
Grey & olive with silver lateral line or black

Now those are a couple of good reasons, will definitely tie up grey and grey/olive, thanks

We are flying 1Time, had to book according to their flight dates, seeing that they don't fly on Saturdays.
