    Arrow Most valuable tying tool

If there is one tying tool that you cannot go without what would it be and why? Mine is a barb crusher tool (one of the few that can debarb a Gama B10S without breaking it off) but it's also the best tool to use when flattening the end of your weed guard ala Dave Whitlock.

    Let's hear it!

    The bobbin holder

Everything else is just a nice to have, but trying to tie with a spool of thread falling about and unrolling while hoping to retain any sense of composure just isnt fun.

Ja, I'm with Mark on this one. My bobbin is the most import to me, second to the vice of course.

Hackle pliers for me. Very handy for holding gathered pieces and keeping them in tact before the tie. Makes hackling and ribbing a pleasure.

I would say anything in your hole kit but you can still manage without something cuz i have tied a few flies without a vice and a bobbin.

The worst for me is if the vise cuz i get frastrated if i have the wrong vise aspecialy these cheap ones that cant hold the hook nicely.
