    At R65 p/kg the owner/manager should be more than eager to help you out

    once a cat's whiskers cost me almost a R1000 in a few hours and the worst of all is the trout tasted like mud!

    Thanks for the input guys, however it all amounted to nothing, nada!!!

    I blanked again, but then again everybody there blanked. It was a scortcher and there was no action in any of the ponds.

    Hi Thomas,

    This time of the year is not the best at Brookwood. The water temps is too high in the ponds. Personally I would give it another month or so. Before trying the trout again!

    The other thing that you could try is a crystal woolly bugger in the bottom pond, where the bass swims. And try to pick up some bass.

    Maybe you did not get rid of the bloodline along the stomach line, same if one does not de- vein a prawn, tastes muddy.
