Thread: Pilchard Head cube flies for large tuna

Default Pilchard Head cube flies for large tuna

Tied these up last night for this winters yellowfin and bluefin tuna - using SL12's in 6/0 and 8/0 and also Owner in-line circles. Materials used were "Just Add H2O" slinky fibre, SF blend, Flekta Flash and others. Weighted them with solder along the shank before tying.

Not yet perfect but once we get the fish up I reckon these will get snaffled - it is the part after that that hurts !!!

    Cheers

    Steve

Very nice flies, will work a charm. Going to tie a few myself.
