Thread: Lightweight rod for bushveld streams

Default Lightweight rod for bushveld streams

    Manne

I sometimes get the opportunity to fish gin clear bushveld streams and rivers. I have a 3wt Explorer that I use on these streams. I sometimes find the rod too long for the dense riverine bush. Is there a 3wt rod out there that is made in 6ft or shorter? I do not want to go smaller than 3wt since some of these streams hold 4kg+ yellows.

    Thanks
