    You dont have to go to Vioolsdrift, the area in the park has good fishing and is about half the way from Port Nolloth.

    Thanks Korrie, which road would you take from port nolloth and does it still end up faster (bearing in mind that port nolloth to vioolsdrift is on more "main" roads?

    You might be right.
    But you will be going to Alexander Bay then along the Orange to the Park. It is only the last section from Alexander Bay to the Park that is a bit rough. But if you strike it lucky, they would have graded/scraped the road, then it is not a problem.

    Hi. was up there 2 weeks ago and fished the area right in front of the Felix Unity camp. caught 48 fish in two 5 hr sessions. lmy up to 56 cm and smy up to 48 cm. also a moggel and a barber ( caight abouy 500 m upstream). It should be goof as it wss my first try for yellows. Most on tiny flies. # 14 - 18, even the lmy. water wad very low and clear. enjoy. Niel Malan

    This is sounding good I must say! thanks Niel, is the felix unite camp on the namibia side? if so do you guys know hat time the border opens and closes?
