    Default kob up river

I fish in the eastern cape off my small wooden boat and we go up as far as we can and we catch all sorts.
Some of ur best fishing is done as far up river on a high tide as you can go. Good luck in march.

Hey Trev, have you already been to SA or when are you coming through. If you need a spot to crash in Durbs you more than welcome to pull in. Let us know how the fishing goes/went

Cheers Julz, Only going to be in the Cape on this trip would have loved to pulled in to Durbs, but no time on this trip, Mrs to be has got me driving all over the Cape looking at wedding venues, there for 2 weeks and only managed to get 2 days off for fishing, so going to hit the Breeda and the local farms around my old mans place he has sorted permission to fish 1 or 2 of the bass dams, appreciate the offer

    Four day trip is mandatory!
Its 3 hours from CT. Go with people and local knowledge from the forum or at least meet up with them. Its a big place and takes precious time to get around. There are holidays coming and I am sure there are groups going to suit your timing.
Your reward will have you looking for real estate never mind wedding venues!

    Thinks slowly,
How about the "lodge" as a wedding venue?
    Great launching facilities!
    Or the bush pub ?
That river owes me big time!

Thanks Charles, I wish I could be there for 4 days, My folks live in Robertson, so will drive down for the day, dont think the Mrs to be would be happy having the wedding so close to a great fishing spot, if we got married there I might rock up a bit late on the day

OK, get in touch with Winelands FF and organise some guided help.
It is worth the money and they will make your day a day to remember.
Springs on the 27th, nice if you can make it around then.
I hope you get there more than once.
