    Ah i agree, but i thought we were talking about the fly.

    I think we were until I added to it , a definition of footprint might be necessary, I like the prey image idea that Bob works with, the giss of the real thing, the fly only needs to imitate the general impression, shape and size of a real insect. General impression would be the footprint imho.
