Cool Nile Perch - Lake Nasser

    G'day Fella's,

I've trolled through the search function and am looking for info on Nile Perch please. There are threads all over the place, so decided to start a new one just to keep it clean.
Last year I contacted Andrew (Shloshed1) about his trip, but it didn't pan out for him and he didn't go.
I have tried contacting a mob in South Africa, but unfortunately the bloke was a bit odd and his reply message left a bit to be desired. Nuff said.......

At any rate, I'm looking specifically for info on flies and tackle please.

I've got my own ideas, but would love to pick the knowledge data base.
(Feel free to e-mail me or PM if you don't want to splash it across the world.)

It looks like Egypt is on the cards shortly after a stint in the States.
Might pay to stock up on some stuff over there before heading to North Africa and I'm wanting to go prepared.

I'll be in South Africa as well late August I imagine, so anyone around want to catch up for a beer. Hopefully put some faces to names and touch base rather than PM'ing.

    Thanks a ton.

    Edit.....
I've got myself a light box, so there will be a few flies splashed up on here one of these days.........will share the ride.

    Ok - here we go.

Sitting in Queen Abadulia ...something else or the other airport in Jordan.
Flight to Cairo and then onto Aswan.

Trip starts Monday - have a bunch of new things to try.

Moon looks good, hope the Perch have finished Ramadan by the time we get there and eat during the day.

This idea of no beer and food during daylight hours relates to a nightmare.

Keep you blokes posted with photo's.......if internet works.
Everything is Africa time and attitude.

"Hau....it's broken rings" true in every aspect on the continent

Look forward to catching up for a few beers with the boys in SA.

Best to E-mail me on flyflinger@bigpond.com
Hopefully be able to pick up messages before we get to SA on 28th August.
Birthday in Dubai................hope we can find a beer somewhere.

It's in an album on my profile page.

Sorry it's taken so long to put up, but man, there's a lot to do after travelling for 3 months.

Enjoy......and thanks for the mails and tips that came through whilst travelling.
