Default Garden route, any news, updates?

Hi, does anyone have any news or updates on how the fishing is along the Garden Route, at the moment?

Just spoke to Gerhard Compion at Keurbooms. He said the recent SE had cooled the sea temps to 14 degrees. However a SW is predicted in the next few days. They had caught Leeries in the Keurbooms and he mentioned lots of grunter coming out at Swartvlei. The fish will be in the estuary systems, look for warmer water, maybe further up the estuaries.

Water is cold, a lot of blue bottles came out last few days.
In Knysna I've been getting a few Leeries and saw quite a few Grunter tailing.
Also report of Spring(Skip Jack) comming out.
Estuary is looking productive so far.
Wind looks like changing around Saturday/Sunday as per Windguru.

sorry for hi-jack but what flies and colours are you catching grunter & leerie on? Down over X-mas and keen to have a bash in the Bitou / Keurbooms.
