Breede river in winter

I need some help please from the guys in the WC. I will be in Rawsonville in the middle of winter - is there good fly fishing around there at that time?

I have only really fished north of the orange so have zero knowledge of that area.

Not really, unless you head to one of the dams. Mid winter there is every chance that the Breede will be flowing too high to fish. Also, the trout rivers are closed for the off season. If you are able to get up to Cere, you could finh Lakensvlei.
