Add another 2' (24", 60.96cm) to your blank, allow for increase in diameter, and then you can start to compare the 2 equally.

Don't forget that to add 2ft length means you have to start with a wider diameter blank at the butt. With the amount of material in the blank increasing at blank radius SQUARED, this will will quickly add up to a lot more mass.
And then also look where the BALANCE point (first without a reel) of both rods are. I would put money on the fact that a 10ft glass rod would have the balance and thus wieght point further up the rod than a 10ft graphite.

Silly argument. The rods are designed for different applications.

Two rods cannot be compared , and it was not my intention to compare them , since 2 foot is missing here .
I thought he is still deciding about new rod, please do not kill me if I offered another solution in a good manner
    Cheers,

Fished with Dan Factor and Gary this past weekend and have to admit the Infinity really impressed, I like the new Streamflex Plus and will soon compare these two rods side by side, still the Infinity was really impressive.
