Thumbs up The latest in rattle innovation

I've never tried rattles of any kind in or on my flies and would like to get a better understanding of the latest innovations, tying procedures, etc.

If you have any tips or tricks please post.

    Thanx

You get these for plastic worms, they would probably be too bulky to tie on the hook shank and then the material around it so to speak.

You take that worm rattler, get the smallest you can buy, glue it in and secure with thread on the bottom of the shank...the tie the materials around as per usual...Gerrit, wont that work? These are glass rattles and work very well.

No it will def work it's just a matter of planning your fly first and see where it can/should be placed on a hook without affecting casting, ride position, durability, etc. I could swear I saw 3D eyes somewhere which could solve the problem instantly it had like little balls inside can't remember must poor me a G&T and reminisce...

Why don't you just soak your flies in marmite rather?

Heh heh heh.......but seriously, why don't you just learn to tie flies that catch fish for a change... then you wont need all this other rubbish....?

In the BFG9000 SBS maybe the rattle could replace the lead tape under the mylar tubing? Might be a superb performer?!
