    Default Stripping guide

I saw this little "chip" in the plastic section (dunno what it's called) this morning busy cleaning my rod...was this caused by my flyline all the friction and what not or is it a standard feature?

    Thanx

Kan wees, maar daai cracks lyk nie goed nie - die inserts kan dalk uitval when you least want them to ...

    Dit B-grade of factory stokke?

Replace with good ceramic. You will probably find that besides the big fish you are fighting all the time, the Vaal water is not clean and any dirt on the line will abrade the stripping guide while casting and fighting fish.

Not sure if the warranty covers guides and that sort of thing. Very quick job to replace those guides, 2 days max. Find a reputable builder near you with a thread to match. Find out about warranty though and if the guides are covered, and if replacing a guide will void the warranty.
