    Does anyone have a pic of the CDC nymph that Grant K developed , using a single CDC feather? Brilliant fly. Its the kind of fly that you can tie next to the river, without a vise. That might qualify as new age.

    The biggest advancements I have seen in nymphs in my 18 years of flyfishing was been CDC nymphs, UV flash, and UV glue.

    That said, despite the advancements, I am tying simpler and more basic nymphs that are more buggy and natural, concentrating on things like, shape, size, proportions, colours, sink rate etc.
