    Default Little one from sage

finally got to buy the complete fly fisherman mag yesterday (issue241). after a fishy supper i sat on the couch for some read. got to page 13 and was blown back deeper into the couch with the advertising of the new sage -little one. the range is available from #0 to a #4 in a 8'2" length. i am sure all ultra light guys are gonna be dreaming for haul this off the tackle store shelves.
this is my thing, i have been looking for a sage spl or slt 181-3 for some time now. not only it will be cheaper to buy but that it comes in a 8'1" length which is perfect for me. if any of you with a spl or slt and want it replaced with the new "little one" please give a shout.
    thanks for reading

Would be a fool to part with an slt! Grab one if you can...

The TXL-F is also a great rod. On special at Frontier Fly-fishing at the moment

the txl-f is a great rod, between looking for a the spl/slt and knowing about the big discount on a new txl, i totally feel dumb nowadays. i'm also sure the "little one" is a great rod but i think the price should be about 9 or 10 gees, just too much for half dozen trips or less (small stream fishing) a year.

None of the newer Sage rods like the TXL-F and little One will not be able to offer close range casting like the SPL's and SLT's. I should know, I have had both the SLT, SPL 2wts and a TXL 000wt and fished enough with an SPL 0wt.

hi Shector, what are the chances of tracking those spl/slt's?

edited - didnt want to ask but need to know, why did you let these beauties go?
