    Default Mazeppa Bay

Who has any experience fishing the Wild coast area of Mazeppa Bay?
I lived in the Transkei for 8 years but was never really into fishing then, thus my knowledge lacks regarding the area.

I need advise on Estauries and sea fishing the area.

    Howsit man.
Cant really give you any fly fishing specific info as I normally go there for shark fishing.
There is a nice river within a short driving distance or a longer walk. Its the one by cob inn.
Sea fishing i wouldnt go of the island but try rather shark point as its a bit more sheltered and you can pick up nice garrick there early morning.
If you have a bakkie you can ask one of the ghillies to take you to "gunga" which is about an hour away to fish the channels there for cob and shad.
Other spot is salt rock for cob.

    Thanks Occie

Got a wealth of info on other sites as well. I am sure I will be worth it taking two fly rods with. I would be seriously upset if I find a feeding frenzie of Garrick and no fly rod.
