    Default My first nice prawn

    Good day
I have been tying flies for a very short time I can still count how many I have tied 23 in total so don't expect a pro prawn.

I am very proud of this one I made, What do you think? how can I improve on this(If I can).

    Thank you56d65f92-84ef-4217-a10d-2e9d7d9030bc.jpg

    Welcome to the addiction Alec.

I cant clearly see where the hook eye is, if it is where the dubbing ends that tail will cause problems when casting and retrieving the fly. What material did you use for the tail/top? Great effort!

I made silicone sheet from marine silicone.

the hook has a short shank so the eye is where the dubbing ends.

    it is a no4 hook.
