Thread: Pratley UV Bond/glue

    Hi David,

    That shouldn't happen, I haven't had the same experience. I have had a bottle of Loon UV resin (thin) that smells more like a pack of sweeties, don't know why. But haven't had the resin going dull. Is it going whitish/not clear ?

    No, not whitish, it just loses that sexy shine. And not even every time. I presume I'm doing something wrong, but I don't know what.

    The only thing I can think of is that you touch some flies when the UV resin hasn't completely set, don't know...

    When you wet it does the shine come back, I've made some flies where it dulls once touched, but once wet it looks fine again
