i was fishing cape streams and lost my net. i'm planing to buy a new one but i'm not sure which to buy
could i please have some information on what net works for you

Have a look at "Handy Pack Insta-nets". Check the website and I know Lyle Smith from MFFA is busy bringing them into the country.
They are a cool option and very compact and I suspect will come in below your price range.

i'll check eikendal see whats on offer i'm not planning to catch anything bigger than 50 cm so it doesn't need to be big

Was in same predicament a while back and settled on McLean net from NZ.
Hands down one of the best I've used.

Not sure what the exchange rate is for you guys but they are well worth every cent spent.

Pretty sure they make tiddler nets too for sub 50 cm fish

You can have a really nice stream net custom/handmade for that price.

Thanks Mike, appreciate the punt. But was not just talking about me - at the moment there are a number of guys in SA that are making really good nets in that price range
