    Default Lapland, Here I come

    I am off to Lapland.
    Tickets booked and paid for.
I have to go and inspect a machine in Sweden, and my Swedish friend said, why not join them on their annual Lapland excursion.
    Well, why not.
It is 10 hours drive from Stockholm, North, then 10km hike, into the wilderness.
We will be camping next to the river, where it goes into a lake, with bears running around etc.
Everything has to be carried in, and nothing left behind.
The local Sami people have to give permission to camp and fish on their land etc.
I will be posting some photos of the spot etc in due course.
5 days, away from all modern society.
I am as excited as a kid in a candy store, with a huge shopping basket

Sounds like a great trip. Some big browns have been coming out recently (from a guide friend on Facebook). Not sure if this is where you will be, but quiet sure the fishing would be equal ito quality. Hopefully you will post some pics of the trip this time.
