    Hard to say - My father taught me to fish, his father taught him to fish, I don't know how much further back it goes but none of them were fly fishermen that I am aware of.

    My old man enjoys FF but prefers deep sea to anything else. I'm the only FF nut in my family as far I've been told. But the fishing genes were there to start with.
