Programme for the day:

6:30am-10:00am fish the morning rise at Jonkershoek

10:00am get assigned a venue, guide and map for the bass fishing

10:00am – 14:00pm guided bass fishing at one of three mystery venues (watch flytalk's catch reports for tactic tips on these venues!)

14:00pm return to Jonkershoek to fish the evening rise

17:00pm Spar trout cooking demonstration with Jenna Gough of the Trout Cafe and John Platter 2007 wine guide wine tasting (pairing food with wine under the guidance of John Platter South African Wine Guide taster Meryl Weaver)

19:00pm The South African Flyfishing Calendar 2007 “Tale behind the Tails” Slide show presentation by Leonard Flemming, Billy de Jongh and Dr Tom Sutcliffe telling the tale behind the images in the first South African Flyfishing Calendar. Accompanied of course by a warming glass of Bell’s extra special Scotch whisky to set the mood.
