Darryl had a lot of time to look at insects yesterday, in fact, he had out the binocs and was even spotting birds at one stage, as some idiot was thrashing and splashing the water to shreds. Some nice fish were taken and a great day was had, despite the ominous looking weather. Thanks a mil for all the help.
Imagine what a d00s I felt when I take out my rod, only to find I brought my 8/9 weight. Thanks to Darryl for having a spare. I really learnt a lot. So Nic tomorrow will not be a complete case of the blind leading the blind. I might have one eye half open
Behold the fisherman. he riseth early in the morning and disturbeth the whole household. mighty are his preperations. he goes forth full of hope and when the day is ended, he returneth smelling of strong drink and the truth is not with him. originator unknown.
